SCHOOL NEWS- PRIMARY SCHOOL GAMES in WISHAW

Today  the school took part in the County Games.................... held in WISHAW

SCHOOL NEWS-The WEAR YELLOW Charity Walk

On JUNE 2, our P7 children took place in this event in Strathclyde Park.............P7 children from all over Lanarkshire took part!

It was done in aid of St. Andrew's Hospice SEE HERE!

There's a lot happening still here at St. Barbara's.

The end of term report cards have to be completed- school finishes for the summer break in three weeks' time!

Have a lot of school events to 'blog'.............plenty of pictures- will definitely upload them this weekend...........school sports- charity walk to name just two!

Am also really busy collating work for the British Council's International School Award- a huge portfolio has to be submitted next month with our project taking centre stage!

Meantime, here are a few pictures of the pupil Comenius Committee- you will meet them in October!

BUSY BUSY BUSY!

Since returning from that wonderful meeting in Turkey, there's been hardly a minute to spare!

At the moment, I have a post-graduate student and have been busy testing the pupils and starting on reports.

There's a lot to be done before the children transfer to Secondary School.

This weekend Friday-Monday is the May Bank Holiday and the school will be closed.

This week we had our Annual Sports Day and the theme was the World Cup..............even though our National Team won't be at the finals in South Africa, we all enjoy our football over here!

Back Safe and Well

Collette and I went back to St. Barbara's today after a really memorable meeting in Golcuk.

The Blog will be updated about the trip ASAP.................... we are really tired -but totally positive about this Comenius Project!

THE WADDING IS CAREFULLY PUT INTO THE OUTER CASE

PUTTING ON THE EYES WAS A DIFFICULT TASK- The children were trying to give their toys some emotion- happy faces, angry faces etc

LOTS OF DIFFERENT COLOURS OF FELT WAS USED.
