General information about the Provost
The Provost is the civic head of North Lanarkshire and also chairs meetings of the full Council.
As civic head Provost Tom Curley meets with visitors and dignatories to the area and represents the Council and the people of North Lanarkshire at all kinds of events.
Assisted by Depute Provost Jim Robertson, he regularly visits citizens celebrating 100th birthdays, diamond weddings etc and hosts civic receptions and recognition.
